On-location in downtown Toronto at Hot Docs, sitting with hundreds of documentary producers and filmmakers from around the world! Exciting morning for us here, we already met with TVO (Television Ontario) to pitch Defensora (formerly titled 'Of Earth and Sky'). After watching the preview cut they commented that it "was a very powerful trailer." They asked us some good questions about the story line, budget and upcoming production. They definitely seem interested and we will be following up with them this week.
Over nine theatres here in Toronto are screening documentaries all day long during this week -which is heaven for a filmmaker and producer! And we have already picked several workshops to attend.
